American Cancer Society

Willamette Lutheran Retirement Community, a not-for-profit community, is dedicated to their staff and residents as well as being mindful of the social concerns in the surrounding community.

Since cancer has touched so many of our lives, one area that Willamette Lutheran demonstrates social accountability is their support of the American Cancer Association Relay for Life. On June 2, 2014 staff and friends hosted a fundraising dessert buffet that netted $432.00 in donations. There are other events happening this month through July 7th that all proceeds will be donated to benefit the American Cancer Society.
