The Grace Center at Willamette Lutheran is a licensed 22-bed Residential Care Facility (RCF).  These rooms are reserved for residents who currently reside on campus at WLRC in an independent dwelling.  Residents may have a short term stay or make the Grace Center their permanent home.  We do admit from outside our community for short term stays on an availability basis only.

The Grace Center is a Community Base Care facility verses a skilled nursing home facility.  We are not billable to Medicare like skilled facilities.  However, you can receive services from outside providers when ordered by your Practitioner who can bill your insurance for services like physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy

A Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is on duty at all times in the Grace Center.  Direct care is provided 24-hours per day by qualified, trained staff, working under the direction of the nurse on duty.

Choices

Our high staff-to-resident ratio emphasizes the utmost in personal attention that each resident receives.  Staff develop individual service plans to assure each residents’ needs are understood and met. We have both private and semi-private rooms.

Assurance

Our medication and treatment system has professional oversight.  We order, securely store, administer, and monitor for effectiveness, and monitor side effects of all medications.  Medications are reviewed quarterly by a Pharmacist.  Staff aid residents by assisting in mobility and, when necessary, transferring them to other areas of the building.

Personal Care

We promote choice, individuality, privacy, dignity, and independence.  We adjust assistance to your care needs as they change.  We assist in all activities of daily living; bathing, dressing, grooming, and exercise.  The Grace Center stay is billed at a flat daily rate and there is no extra level of care charge assessed.  We encourage interested residents to participate in our community’s many planned activities.
